Work package one
Mobile pilot facility Ghent University, Campus Kortrijk, has built a small scale mobile pilot installation that will enable demonstration of the technology onsite. It will operate on three different company sites, treating parts of real waste water streams, which will not only make the technique public but also set the boundaries for operation. The demonstrations provide an important opportunity to gain valuable data such as nutrient removal capacity, biomass growth and the biogas(energy) potential of the MaB-floc biomass. The university will then share this data across the EnAlgae project, contributing to the overall data management system.
