11 Sep 2015 Programme for EnAlgae final close-out revealed
The programme for the EnAlgae close out conference is now available and promises the opportunity not only to share not only the outputs from the project itself but also take part in panel discussions about issues affecting the industry.
The event takes place in Brussels on Tuesday 29th September and is being held at the Espace Banca Monte dei Paschi on Avenue d'Auderghem
The programme features the outputs which have been delivered by the EnAlgae project and key researchers and project partners will be on hand throughout the day to discuss their work and conclusions.
In addition, industry representatives and politicians will take part in talks on commercialisation and the policy and regulation of the industry.
“We are very pleased to welcome the secretary of state of Flanders, Dr Bart Tommelein, together with MEPs Derek Vaughan and Richard Ashworth to the event,” said project coordinator Dr Shaun Richardson. “We will also benefit from the presence and experience of a councillor from the Committee of the Regions, Linda Gillham, as well as industry representatives Daniele Bianchi, the manager of innovation and technology with energy company ENI and Mario Tredici from EABA.
“Delegates who join us will not only be able to hear at first hand the outputs from our project, but also take part in breakout discussion groups on a range of themes, test our decision support tool first hand and participate in the panel discussions. So it really should be an informative and immersive experience for everyone.”
