Registration is now open for the EnAlgae close out conference which is being held in Brussels on Tuesday 29th September.

With a full day’s programme, the event is an opportunity to learn about the main outputs from the projects, take part in animated discussions around key themes and engage with researchers and European politicians and businesses.

“We wanted to make this event a real interactive experience for our delegates,” said project coordinator Dr Shaun Richardson. “With that in mind we not only have scene setting by European politicians and presentations of our key outputs from our research staff, but also themed panels discussions around topics such as policy and regulation, commercialisation and future technologies.

“We’re hoping these discussions will be lively, informative and contribute to our final report. So if you want to join us as we unveil our project outputs, test our decision support tool and help inform the future direction for Europe in this field, then come along to Brussels and join our event.

“Europe has a great deal of skill and expertise in the field of algal technology and we hope to provide politicians and policy makers with a clear sense of where they need to focus their energy in the future in order to maximise the potential of this position. The opportunity is there for Europe to be a hub for future innovation and investment in the algae sector.”
